a player’s perspective:

Jonny says “I’ve been playing football since the second grade and can’t wait for the season to begin. I love the game, my teammates and my coaches. I’ve learned so much over the years from my coaches about how to play football the proper way and the safest way. It takes a lot of dedication and commitment to play football but it has taught me a lot about respect and self- discipline. The coaches gave me the opportunity to play different positions on defense and offense over the years, now I play quarterback and really love it.  I’ve learned that every position is equally important, we each have a job to do, and we must work together as a team. Being a good teammate is one of the biggest things I’ve learned.  The best part is I’ve built strong friendships with my teammates both from Scituate and Cohasset and know we will be friends for life!”

a parent’s perspective:

Jonny’s parents Kristi and Joe comment: “SciCoh football has been a terrific experience for our son. We are impressed with the coaches knowledge as well as how much they care about the kids. Watching the kids play football, seeing the spirit on the sidelines, and listening to the announcer call the game makes for a very fun family day of football!”
