OCYFL Grade 8 All-Stars

Each year, the OCYFL brings together some of the best players in the 8th grade to compete for one final time in youth football. The league is divided into North vs South teams, and there will be over 100 football players participating. All-Stars are voted on by the 25+ towns in the OCYFL and no town can vote/choose their own players.

In 2022, the OCYFL renamed this game to the Ken Kelly All-Star Game, in memory of Ken who was a beloved SciCoh Football Coach and Board Member for many years. Two players also receive the Ken Kelly MVP Award at the post-game ceremony. We encourage Sharks of all ages to attend this exciting game!

2023 OCYFL ALL-STARS

“I am so grateful to be selected as an OCYFL All-Star. I’d like to thank my family, my coaches, and my teammates for being there with me through every step of my SciCoh Sharks career. Not only did my coaches teach me to be a better player but they taught me to be a better person as well. I feel so honored to be a part of such a great and supportive team and will never forget my years as a Shark. Although I am sad that it is coming to an end, my career on this football team has taught me how to work hard and respect others. Both are things that will take me a long way in life. GO SHARKS!”

- Tyler Stelljes #10

“SciCoh Football is a great organization that I’m lucky to be a part of. Over the last three years, I’ve learned so much about how football is the ultimate team sport, and without my coaches, teammates, and especially my dad, I would never have made it to this game. It is an honor to be selected to represent SciCoh Football and I am proud to play on behalf of my teammates.”

- Thomas Murray #28

“To represent my family, friends, teammates, and coaches while wearing the Shark on my helmet, really means a lot to me. I loved playing in the SciCoh organization and playing under my dedicated coaches. Because of them, I learned about commitment, hard work, motivation, and honesty. To be named an All-Star is an honor. It means I get to play one more game alongside a few of my SciCoh buddies. Although we didn’t win the Super Bowl, I still classify the season as a success.”

- Joey Pannozzo, #52

“I loved being part of this team.  We bonded as a team and got better every year ending our SciCoh Sharks career in the Super Bowl.  I am grateful to be selected to the All-Star team!”

- Fin Feeley #53

"SciCoh has not only taught me football, but has taught me teamwork, dedication, and discipline. Over my 2 years in SciCoh, I have improved so much at football. I could not have done this without my coaches helping me and encouraging me to get better. I am sad that my SciCoh Sharks career has to come to an end because I have had so much fun and built great friendships with my coaches and teammates. It is such a great honor to be selected as an All-Star!"
